Welcome to Feathered Nest Friday!

I have been busy over here this week- but not with projects~ I've been having fun with my little grand kittens.

You can see more of them in my post about looking for that elusive 'kitten' setting on my camera

I also shared a post about little My Comedians~ my babies who are so grown up and
 aren't so little any more.

Love them and their humor so much.

A 'pinch me' moment~
something a little bit 'romantique' with my guest cottage feature in Europe -
and the first time I have styled and photographed a whole story for print.

A Guest Cottage Feature

A few months back when it was freezing cold

I was thinking Spring and Summer.

Which honestly isn't all that unusual.
 But not only was I thinking about Spring and Summer
I was decorating for Spring and Summer

I thought about blooming flowers, open windows with breezes blowing in

and lots of warm sunshine.

 I bought flowers in Summer hues (really not so easy to do in Winter)
and I re-styled rooms to be dressed pretty,
 light and airy with warm weather colors
 Summer inspired changes
and

yes,
I might have even put on my flip flops to get in the mood.

;)

Sweet little kittens

I interrupt the regularly scheduled decorating, design and diy posts to share

a couple little sweeties that were adopted last week.

 

Have you ever tried to photograph
 two little rambunctious kittens?

I have been trying to photograph those little grand kittens I promised to show you

and it has left me wondering - 

is there a specific setting on the camera made just for 

 'kittens that jump and roll and move all around all the time'?

My Comedians

You know, sometimes I feel like I am in the middle of a movie 

surrounded by comedians.

The type of movie where one character starts something 

and another picks it up 

and the third joins in 

and then all chaos breaks loose and before you know it 

everyone is rolling on the floor laughing

Then it just keeps going because someone laughing hysterically
 is just plain funny.

The other day the laughter all started because one of the comedians
