MOSSY LOGS~ FEATHERED NEST FRIDAY


We have so many moss covered branches and sticks in our yard right now
thanks to all the tree damage from the recent snow.

I love their vibrant green color and soft and hard textures mixed together.
So I gathered up a few and put them in a wicker basket and placed them
next to the old potting table near the rock fireplace.

Love their look...Earthy and natural and just beautiful in their own way!
I am thinking they would be fantastic for inside the house too
once they have dried out a bit.
Blogger is really slow for me right now and not letting me load many images...
anyone else having problems?
So though there was more to this post to share...
I'll have to finish it another time.

    that would pay BIG bucks for those fabulous moss covered logs...
    people such as myself
    ...who just happen to have some big bucks
    ...that I cut off the back of a box of cereal
    ...I think there's even a picture of Lucky on them bucks...LOL!!

  19. Hi Courtney! You are so lucky to have those moss covered logs! Yesterday I had to go to Michaels to buy a bag of reindeer moss for my Easter display...and it wasn't cheap (although I did have a 40% of coupon!).

  29. Love those moss brances!! We were in OR and WA last week and I was so in awe of all the gorgeous moss covered trees!!! You don't have that here in Colorado! Of course it rained the whole time too which is the reason for all that velvet lovely!

  59. Oh you are an outdoorsy gal like me! I love my moss, which is everywhere on my property. We are surrounded on 3 sides by wetlands. It unfortunately ends up in my lawn, taking over the grass if we don't remember to regularly add lime. But I love the fuzzy softness of it, on the logs and rocks... it is beautiful in texture and color too! Thanks for sharing.

  61. Courtney, I am having a HORRIBLE time with blogger the last couple of weeks. It just drags and drags. On our site and when visiting others, so it's not just you. Love all of the beautiful features. I am so late this weekend to the party, but I'm going to try and get linked up. My kitchen project is taking priority right now.
