Vintage Flowers

A little something vintage inspired and with beautiful pink flowers? 

Well you know I love it.

A package arrived in the mail yesterday

and inside was a piece of beautiful artwork in soft faded yellow and beautiful layers of pink petals.

 I wanted art that had a vintage look-with cottage colors and sweet charm.

I had such a hard time choosing just which piece to order this time from Gallery Direct-

 there were so many I loved.

Though, I was thinking something simple understated for the spot I am putting it

and so after going back and forth over several-this one was the winner.

When I pulled it out the box- I was instantly in love- it was so much more beautiful in person.

I just  propped it up on the cast iron mantel without much else at all and it was perfect.

This artwork is printed on a piece of smooth plywood with a wood backing.

I usually order the prints on canvas but thought this time I would try the wood 

to see if it made it feel more vintage. 

I wasn't sure what to expect... but...

 I LOVE IT.

The print looks amazing on wood.

 The little bit of wood graining showing through adds a unique texture and it has a very

 vintage feel in person.  I will definitely be ordering my artwork this way again.
