This fresh bouquet of little roses is absolutely beautiful.
Dozens of dainty spray roses in the sweetest of sweet cottage pinks
all gathered together to create a bouquet.
The blooms are so delicate
and I had so much fun photographing them in several different settings.
The bouquet found it's way into our bathroom for a few photos as well.
Love the colors with the red toile wallpaper

brassy gilded mirror
and chipping iron chair
Perfect.
The large flea find vintage silver tray
was just big enough to lay across the bathtub.
I set it here for when Mark came to take photos
to hold a small vintage bottle with a single bloom and I loved it so it has stayed.
So lovely for holding a large bouquet or a few magazines while soaking.

Several of you have emailed to ask about the flowers I show in my posts and where I get them
I do not shop at a specialty flower shop~I like to get the best prices I can find and so
I usually stop in and take a peek at the flowers at several different grocery stores
each week to see what they have that might inspire a post.
I bring a bouquet (or two sometimes ;) )
home with me once every week or so that I can mix and match
with flowers I already have or what is blooming in my yard.
The roses don't last nearly as long as some of the other flowers
especially in this heat we have been having.
This bouquet of spray roses was just $12.99 and it was literally the size of 3 bouquets.
The pink was perfect~ very vintage in color and it mixed in well
with a few of my favorite large green and pink roses
Absolutely gorgeous.
That *little* project we have been working on has been taking up much of my time the past couple weeks
( I am covered in paint as I am writing this post :) )
The good news is- we are painting!
Which means a lot of the really really 'fun' work is done!
Phew!
I am getting super excited at how it is starting to shape up
and I just shared a little peek at a chandelier we put in on Facebook a bit ago~ you can find it here
and will be sharing more of everything else soon!
:)

ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful roses. Also would love to use the toile wallpaper in my home. Can you share the pattern name. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI actually purchased the wallpaper probably 5 years ago... so I don't remember the name. If you google 'toile wallpaper' you may be able to find something similar. Hope that helps!
DeleteYour photos are just beautiful and roses always remind me of my grandmother who had rose gardens! Thanks for sharing on Coastal Charm.
ReplyDeleteLove it all! The flowers, the wallpaper, the silver tray, the iron chair.....gorgeous photos!
ReplyDeleteCourtney - you never fail to bring a smile to my face and a sigh to my heart, girl! Your photos continue to amaze me as well as your decorating style. I've been buying $9 bunches of roses each week at the grocery store (because sometimes faux roses just don't do it for me) and can't imagine my week without them now. :) I adore the idea of putting that tray across the tub! I have to go dig out the one I bought recently and see if it'll fit my tub! Hugs!

Anne
